Story
After several years in the early 2000’s as a Relationship Manager in CBA’s Premium Banking team.
I, Norman Wong, decided to take the plunge into broking in 2007, this was interspaced with a period where I was a BDM for several funders & Aggregators.
Finally in 2016, my wife Sasa and I decided to join forces and started a business together and Tomato Mortgages was founded.
Our niche in the crowded broker Market were Thai clients, why?
No one else seem to be properly covering that part of the market & Sasa was Thai, her hometown being Bangkok.

After spending Covid operating the brokerage compulsorily at home, we finally moved into our own renovated Offices in Malvern Rd, Glen Iris in mid-2022.
The new offices were exciting enough, though concurrently to add to our story we also opened a Loan processing and Sales office in Bangkok.
Staffed by six enthusiastic Thai English/Business graduates, a natural extension of the Office, is to offer their services to other Australian brokers.

Therefore, Red Loan Processing Services is the company which will be offering Australian brokers, the opportunity to access a quality Loan assistant for a fraction of the cost of what they would normally pay.
To provide an accessible, value adding & affordable Virtual loan assistant service to Australian brokers.
We believe that small businesses are the life blood of the Economy and by providing Virtual /Loan assistants that provide excellent service at affordable prices, this will sustain and further the economic viability of this important and defining sector of the Australian Economy.
Every one of our Thai based staff is personally interviewed & selected by our Director Sasapin Premsai. Sasapin has made Melbourne her home since 2002-when she came to further her tertiary studies. She is joined in this process by her husband & business partner Norman Wong, who, though born in Melbourne comes from an Asian background.

Our Security and Risk Management
Physical office​
Inside the office, we have back to base security systems operating, both during working, and closed hours.
Scanners for every employee logging them on when entering the building and logging off when they leave.
From an office perspective, we have security at the entrance of the office at all times and strict policies in place to prevent non-employees entering the office, both during and outside of work hours.
Risk Management Procedure
On the PC’s themselves, we restrict the use of work stations where the device can only be accessed at specific times and can only access authorized software and websites.

​Up to date antivirus software is installed, LastPass for password security management.
Local Australian hosted document procedure and data management software are included along with procedures that track the use of data, prevent data deletion and limit the level of access to data.
Each PC has an up to date version of the current windows operating system, which as of recording this video is Windows 10, as well as time tracking software that measures keystrokes and activity levels and also flags unauthorized activity on the PC.
Finally from a people perspective, we have legally-binding employment agreements and non-disclosure agreements with every employee, including enforceable policies around data management.
